I’ve always been interested in why individuals think and behave in
certain ways. From an early age, I was aware that some people were more
fun and inspiring to be around than others; their life somehow seemed easier.
I wanted to be one of those people. Working with a Coach fundamentally changed
the way that I thought about myself and my life. I realised that whilst
we can’t control what happens to us, we can chose how we react to
it.
Having trained and worked as a Coach, I recognised that there was more
involved than just the mind. I broadened my skills to include Holistic massage
which included an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and introduced
me to the concept of the mind body spirit connection. I then went on to learn
about the ancient wisdom of Hawaiian style bodywork and the power of working
with a shared intention i.e. working with the client to achieve their desired
outcome such as a sense of balance, relaxation or to feel energised.
More recently having trained with Sandy
Newbigging, the creator of Mind Detox Method™ and worked as a therapist
on one of Sandy’s retreats, I have witnessed the speed at which the
body can heal itself once the emotional route cause has been identified and
cleared.
The results are truly amazing.
An apple tree was the first thing that I grew from seed, aged 7. Trees are rich in many ways - providing shelter, fuel and materials, they answer many needs. Symbolically they represent life and family: the roots are where you’ve come from, the trunk is where you are now, and the leafed and fruiting branches are your potential. The apple is a symbol of love, healing, desire and immortality.
